Caramel Macchiato

Ingredients for :

4 people
Water
20 cl Waters
Powdered sugar
15 g Powdered sugar
Milk
80 cl Milk
Coffee
8 g Coffees
The Whipped Cream
g The Whipped Cream
Cocoa powder
g Cocoa powder

Method :

  1. Caramel Preparation:
  2. Place the sugar and water in a saucepan over high heat. Wait for the mixture to caramelize, then remove the saucepan from the heat. Add Paysan Breton Slightly Salted Butter and mix well. Return the mixture to low heat. Add Paysan Breton Thick Fresh Cream. Stir the mixture until the Paysan Breton Thick Fresh Cream becomes smooth.
  3. Macchiato Preparation:
  4. Heat the milk gently over low heat with the caramel (reserve a little caramel for decoration) and add the coffee. Pour into large glasses. Top with whipped cream. Decorate with cocoa powder and a drizzle of caramel.

Paysan Breton tip

If you want to make your whipped cream at home, whip 10 cl of very cold heavy cream with 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar.
