And learn about animal welfare

Nicolas talks about animal welfare

How do you know if a cow is happy and healthy? Paysan Breton farmer, Nicolas Morfouasse provides a full explanation.

Welcome to the GAEC Les Prés-Verts collective farming grouping near Lamballe (Côtes-d'Armor).

Good milk starts with animal welfare

In order to produce quality milk, which is the main ingredient in all our products, cows need to feel free and calm.  Paysan Breton farmers all sign a charter which includes an important section on animal welfare. They have a genuine bond with their animals. They see their births, get to know them, feed them, and look after them every day.

Mats are put down to ensure the cows are comfortable, and they're not the only ones to make use of them...
