Concours Général Agricole 2024 : 5 medals for Paysan Breton!
The Concours Général Agricole has announced the winners of its 2024 edition: Paysan Breton won 5 medals.
Silver medal for our Moulded Butter with Guérande Salt Crystals
Our Moulded Butter with Guérande Salt Crystals wins silver in the salted butter category. This traditional butter combines the creaminess of butter with the crunch of salt crystals from the Guérande marshes. A gourmet butter to enjoy on a slice of bread, or in the kitchen for tasty recipes.
Three medals for our soft cheese range
Our three soft cheeses presented this year won medals. Silver for Camembert Pays, whose typicality and beautiful presentation made all the difference, and Tarte l'Original Brie, rewarded for its excellent taste and homogeneous paste. These two iconic French cheeses are a must for any cheese platter.
Another medal-winner: La Baguette, with a bronze medal in the washed-rind, soft cow's milk cheese category. This mild cheese is ideal for cheese platters. With its attractive rind and creamy texture, it won over the jury.
Another silver medal for our Cream Cheese
The latest award-winning product is our Cream Cheese, acclaimed for its good texture and pleasant taste. This fresh-tasting cheese is the ideal ingredient for many recipes!
What role do the Concours Général Agricole medals play?
The Concours Général Agricole, held each year at the Salon International de l'Agriculture in Paris, rewards the best products from France's terroir. A jury of professionals, producers and consumers awards gold, silver and bronze medals in 19 categories, including dairy products. The aim of the competition is to promote high-quality food produced by French agriculture and livestock farming.
These awards underline the quality work of Paysan Breton's breeders and employees. They are in addition to the Prix d'Excellence received at the end of January, which honors the expertise of our fine dairy products.
