Method :
- Preheat oven to 180°C and grease a large cake tin.
- Slowly melt chocolate (broken into small pieces) and butter in a bowl over a pan of simmering water.
- Chop walnuts and hazelnuts with a large knife.
- Add eggs to butter-chocolate mixture and mix. Next, add the sugar, flour, walnuts and hazelnuts.
- Bake 30 minutes and leave to cool slightly before removing from the cake tin.
Paysan Breton tip
For special occasions, serve brownies with a scoop of ice cream, home-made whipped cream or Crème Anglaise.
