Christmas chocolate shortbread

Baking powder
Method :
- Melt the butter and the milk then bring to the boil.
- Mix together the flour, cocoa, sugar and baking powder in a mixing bowl.
- Pour the melted butter mixture on top and knead into a smooth dough.
- Shape the chocolate dough into a ball, then roll it out to a thickness of 2 mm on a floured work surface.
- Cut out shapes with a biscuit cutter.
- Repeat until you have used up all of the dough.
- Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes at 180°C.
Paysan Breton tip
If desired, you can decorate the shortbread with icing made with icing sugar and a little water.
