Beetroot hummus

Ingredients for :

4 people
Cooked beetroot
1 Unit Cooked beetroot
Chickpea
180 g Chickpeas
Garlic
1 Clove Garlic
Purée de sésame
20 g Purée de sésame
Olive oil
2 Dessert spoons Olive oil
Lemon juice
2 Dessert spoons Lemon juices
Sesame seed
3 Teaspoons Sesame seeds
Salt
1 Pinch Salt

Method :

  1. Pour the chickpeas into the bowl of a blender.
  2. Peel the beetroot. Add the diced beetroot, peeled garlic clove, sesame purée, oil, lemon juice and Madame Loïk Nature Au Sel de Guérande Whipped Cheese.
  3. Blend to a smooth purée.
  4. Add the sesame seeds and salt. Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
  5. Chill until ready to serve.

Paysan Breton tip

Serve this hummus with breadsticks, pita bread, carrot sticks or chicory leaves.
